Chicagoland

I arrived into Chicago on Wednesday. And I should have known that my trip was going get on a rocky start. When we arrived at our hotel the Congress Plaza. First thing we see was hotel workers striking. And of course, it was their duty to heckle us on our way in. That’s all cool. I finally settled into my room, which was disgusting and extremely filthy. Well off to sight seeing I go. My first mission was to find a Chicago Style hotdog. I finally found one somewhere down on Michigan ave. It was a total let down. But it was definitely better then the one I had down at Madison Square park.
My next stop was shopping. And that was also a disappointment. I was expecting more shops. Instead I think shopping would have span a 5 block radius. Oh bummer. Well I guess I won’t be spending any money. Later that night I ended up dining at Bin 36. It was was really good food. And it was pretty cool that I got to meet the owner.

Ah.. My first day in Chicago was okay. But my second day was hell. I ordered room service. And after I got my food, my phone had went dead. And I was unable to get online. Argh. Wasn’t even able to call a bell hop. WTF. Seriously, what kind of hotel is this. I was so glad when we left. Argh!

But I did get to see some pretty cool buildings while I was in Chicago. And of course, I got to have my fried Twinkie.
