The Ideal Job
I actually thought I found the ideal job in the New York Time’s classifieds. It was an event coordinator position at an academic institution in a nice working environment.
- There were 3 rounds of interviews.
- 1st round: 20 candidates with your potential supervisor
- 2nd round: 5 candidates with your potential co workers
- 3rd round: 2 candidates with the head of the department.
Anyway, I made it to the 2nd round of interviews. I’m just so bummed, that I didn’t make it to the 3rd round of interviews. It was one job I really want. But I guess it wasn’t meant to be. I feel like I was so close, yet so far. In a way it was an accomplishment making it so far in the interview process. I’m sure they had well over 1000 candidates. I truly thought I did well on my interview. And when I told my cousin that. He responded by saying “Well, you probably did, it’s just a competitive market.” Unfortunately, it’s also an employer’s market. I hope things pick up soon.
Anyway, I’m going to go to my corner and wallow. Not! Enough dwelling. That’s what my blog is for.
Later people, it’s too damn hot to leave my computer on for long. It might overheat in this weather.
