Missing

It’s missing, my favorite pen. *breathe* *breathe* *breathe* I know it’s just a writing utensil. And you’re probably saying that there are plenty of them out there. First of all, the store that sales this pen doesn’t always have it in stock. I got this pen about 5 years ago

And it is the:
- most comfortable pen that I have to write with.
- your handwriting comes out extra fine, neat and narro
- all in one pen, (blue and red ink with a mechanical pencil too)

It’s the pen I wish I had in college. It would have come in handy. But now it’s missing. I go through my phases with my pens. Sometimes it’s comfortable to write with for a short period of time, then I just move onto the next. But not this pen. It’s my favorite. And now it’s gone. It’s not an expensive pen. Well kind of. It cost about $8 dollars, but then again that was about 5 years ago. I just hope they didn’t discontinue the line, then I really really will be upset. Bah hum bug! Well I’m just going to go sulk.
Okay I’m back.

Hmm.. where can it be . I’ve looked everywhere. Then it was lost, but now it’s been found. So happy. So where was it. Don’t know what made me look under my blankets on my bed. But it was there. That’s all that matters. Now the day can really go on.

The Very Themed Night

Yesterday, I went out with a bunch much friends to see the sneak preview of Serendipity. Yeah, it was very predictable plot, but it was really cute movie. You just end up with that warm, fuzzy, and awww! feeling when you leave the theater. After the movie we began our trek to the Serendipity 3 restaurant. Of course, we had to burn some calories before we dive into the dessert I was in such a sugar high halfway into my banana split. Then again, that wear off very quickly I know it was a cheesy theme night, but it was a lot of fun.

Fortune Cookie

So after bowling, I went out with the bowling group to this chinese restaurant Ollie’s. Jeanine and I spent most of the night cracking jokes at Dennis. He was just such an easy target. At the end of dinner, at any chinese restaurant, I got my fortune cookie. My fortune said “Savor your freedom - it is precious.” Kind of strange, considering I’m still unemployed. Maybe I should really do some travelling before I’m forced to go back pounding the pavement in the real world. Sometimes there are too many coincidences when it comes to your fortune.

Leisure Time

I went to Leisure time bowling alley located right in Port Authority tonight. I haven’t been in a bowling alley for about 2 years. I wasn’t any good but then again, I wasn’t bad either. My average score that night was a 83. Not bad. I did get a couple of gutter balls that night, some strikes and spares too. That’s about it. Nothing really exciting. Thought I was really looking forward to just getting out and about.

Back to Class

I’m so sore. I went to gym today. That’s really nothing new. I’ve been going pretty much every day for the past month. But today, I decided to take the Total Body Conditioning class. And my muscles is screaming in pain right now. I guess it didn’t help that a half a hour prior I was on the mat stretching and doing god knows how much crunches. Ekk!!! That’s all I can say.

Nothing is Free

First I moved, most of all my pictures from geocities to homestead because geocities wasn’t allowing you to link your pictures from another site. Nothing is ever free. If you sign up for a free service they share your information with their other vendors. Now I have to move all my files from homestead to some other free homepage provider. I haven’t decided yet. Maybe Anglefire since it was bought out by Lycos. And I really don’t think Lycos is going anywhere soon. So this is what it boils down to in this so call free e-commerce world. Once free providers like homestead realize that a lot of people are using their service. They’re going to charge for it. $50 bucks for webspace for a year and you still have that stupid banner advertisement on the bottom of your page. That’s just highway robbery or freeway robbery as my friend Kal would say. If they their annual fee was more reasonable, maybe more people would be incline to pay. I know why should I be complaining when I was getting service for free. I guess, because they aren’t exactly giving you much a choice. If you don’t upgrade your account, your page is pretty much defunct. It’s not like they are going to limit your web space. People can’t even view your page. This sucks. And this is the end of my ranting for today.

Kaput

I haven’t blogging the past couple of days, because my computer has been so tempermental with me. My hard drive is pretty much kaput. Woo hoo! I finally backed up all my mp3. Now all I have to do is back up the rest of my data on cd. I already have on zip. But you can never be too safe. I think I’m going to do that tomorrow because it’s getting pretty late right now. Oh so, I finally broke down and ordered cable. Yes, cable. Ever since the WTC attack, I lost all reception pretty much except for CBS and WNYE. I just got UPN back today, but the reception sucks. I can probably wait it out till the new antennas go up, but I don’t think it’s going to do much for my reception.

Creepy creepy

Well on both my subway trips heading back to Brooklyn, some guy on the train had attempted to try to talk to me. Not that I have anything against the male species, considering 90 percent of my friends are guys. I was really in the mood to talk to them. I guess it might have to be the fact they were just assuming that I was from another country or that I was from China. It’s not like it has ever cross there mind that I might be an American. Eww! It’s like a sign of an asian fetish when they ask you what country you are from. Dude! Try to find a common topic to talk about. So of course, I try to give them a hint that I wasn’t interested in talking. But I guess they were kind of slow. After a while I just gave up. Creepy.

Mah Jong, Anyone

So I went to my friend AC’ Autumn Equinox potluck this Saturday. It was a lot fun and a lot of laughing. I got to see some old friends and make some new friends that night. Three people had already brought cakes to the soiree when we got to his apartment. LC (AC’s cousin) and I had a running question that night. When anyone new came to the party the first thing we were wondering was if they brought food (something either then dessert). As soon, as AC realized he had more then four people that knew how to play mah jong, he quickly broke out his brand new mah jong set. And we all ended playing mah jong that night.

Murphy’s Law

I knew that it was too good to be true that I was having such a good day. As soon as I got on the train, Murphy’s Law went into full effect. Everything that can go wrong went wrong. I was deleting a program, when my palm decided to crash on me. That’s okay, because I can always sync it when I get home. While, syncing my palm, my computer decided to go kaput. I had a hard drive failure. So I ended up spending my next 2 hours trying to get my computer back up. So here I am right now. I don’t know how long this is going to last. I just know that I’m afraid to turn my computer off. On top of that, I can’t open some of the images on my compact flash card. My computer gives me an error message to restart my computer. Which I know I’m not going to, considering my current situation. I don’t know what else can go wrong to day. *Knock* *Knock* on wood. Just in case. You never can be so sure what might strike next.
