After a week of events, I’m finally back in the office today. Not for long, though. I’m actually gearing for a charity event to be held in Wall Street tomorrow. Seriously, my
co-workers must think I’m strange, because I was running around the office today talking to myself. That’s only because, when I start get closer to a deadline, I’m going over my checklist out loud. I just want to make sure that I got every detail down pat. Then again, it didn’t help that I had a cup of earl grey tea with 4 packs of sugar around 3pm. So you can imagine me on sugar overload. It would have been much worse if I had some coffee. Ahh… caffeine. (looks at the computer screen with a glazed look).
Aside from that, I’m pretty excited about tomorrow. Dominic Chianese aka Uncle Jr. from the HBO show the Sopranos will be at the event. I actually, searching for his album for the event tomorrow. Suprisingly, it actually sold out at most music stores. After calling several music stores in the City, I located a copy at Virgin Megastore which I immediately placed a hold.
Till next time. I got to get some sleep before tomorrow.

So after a sort of long week, I decided to go veg out to watch Queen of the Damned. It was okay. But a lot of inconsistent with the book, especially in regards the maker of each vampire. And I think it would have helped if they introduced the ancient vampires. And they try to create a love story between Lestat and Jesse, which never existed. At least Interview with the Vampire, was closer to the book. I think these vampires were more believable then Tom Cruise and Brad Pitt. And I’m sorry, but there is no way Antonio Banderas can play Armand. The Vampire Armand, became a vampire at the age of 17, and has a face of cherubin. Sorry, but no matter how many face lifts, Antonio won’t look 17. Seriously, he should at least have a wrinkle by now. And he definitely does not have a face of an angel, even though you might differ with my opinion. Why can’t people just age gracefully like Robert Redford.

In the past two days, I’ve been getting up at 5:30 in the morning for work. Last night, I had a bit of trouble getting to sleep. Since the Olympics have been on, I’ve been working around the olympic schedule these past 2 weeks. I was anxiously awaiting the main event of ladies figure skating. Last night, I was quite disappointed that Michelle Kwan had lost 2002 Olympics to Sara Hughes aka the Tara of 2002. Speaking of Tara, most people really don’t remember her. Wonder if Hughes popularity with wane with time. Like my other, asian counterparts, we were very upset when Michelle lost. I guess you can say, her lost was our lost. I think I was bothered that she won bronze as oppose to silver. It was a pretty confusing scoring procedure. Frankly, I would have been less upset if Sasha Cohen one. It my obligation, to root for my fellow petite gal. She’s only 4′11.
But, I was up chatting with the Fashion guru. He and the Twins are pretty disturbed by the results of the competition. Sadly, Michelle will be retiring after this Olympics. I’ll be fine when Apollo Anton Ohno wins another medal. Got to root for my asian counterparts even if they’re mixed.
Got a question for you to ponder about. Why does Society see Tiger Woods as Black, as oppose to Asian?
