What Were They Thinking

Argh! What is the MTA thinking. There have been talks about fines for putting your feet on the seats and riding between cars. Dude! People are going to ride between cars no matter what. If that’s the case why don’t they just lock the car doors. But now I hear they’re also going prohibit drinking any beverages on the trains. Which the exception of the following acceptable containers. Can I say WTF. No coffee on the trains. Are they really looking for the revolution from all coffee drinkers in the morning. Do you know how the average New Yorker looks without coffee. Has the MTA been smoking to much crack. Cause they must be. Figures the MTA would come up with something like this.

Race Reversal

What is it about the summer? I got on the elevator and this caucasian lady look black. She must have been baking in the sun for 2 days because she looked like Michael Jackson when he was in the Jackson 5. There is such a thing as sitting in the sun too much. And she was a perfect example of that.

Hipster Central

Heading over to the Renegade Craft Fair this weekend at Williamsburg. At first I was thinking of going on Sunday. Then I realized that it’s hipster central. Maybe I should go on Saturday.

Hopeless Cause

While I was riding the train into work today, a homeless woman wandered onto my car. Nothing unusual, except she was not pan handling. Instead she was singing off tune. Luckily, for her Simon Cowell was not on the train. Or he would have totally tore her apart. Then as I was to get on my second train, I saw a homeless lady sleeping in one of the train cars. So I decided to get into another car. Low and behold a MTA employee immediately snaps on her blue latex gloves and swoops into the train. Exactly like the ones in the Blink 182 album cover. Man, it’s going down. She was probably going to grab the woman and throw her out. Figures it would be on a Wall Street Bound train.

Awaken

I was so tired, that I didn’t get up to pick up the phone when it rang. The machine picked up. And it was the weirdest thing because I didn’t know who was calling. You couldn’t help to listen to a brief second of the conversation because you’re wondering who the hell is calling you. Then you try to hang up, but you can’t disconnect the line. I’ve been pocket dialed. It seems to happen a lot when your name is towards the end of the alphabet. The people with “A” names understand my pains. So when I finally disconnected the phone, I immediately *69 the call. You would too. *drum roll* I don’t recognize this number. Time to do some reasearch. In the end, it turned out to be my cousin’s brother-in-law. In true family tradition, I had to bust him on it. That’s what family is for. Ha ha.

This or That

The other day I was chillin’ with my friend in the Slope. Got some ice cream from Louie G’s. And walked past people that were trying to get us to sign a petition to stop Walmart from coming into Brooklyn. I understand that if Walmart opens in Brooklyn, a lot of mom and pop shops will probably be put out of business. But the thing that gets me really annoyed are these people. Why? Because once Walmart opens, I’m sure they’ll be the ones shopping there. And they will soon forget about the local mom and pop shops. Look at Target at the Atlantic Yards. A perfect example for the haven of yuppies, hipsters, and so forth. This kind of hypocrisy really pisses me off.

We Shall Fly Again

So the last time I went on my kite excursion, my kite got caught on a building twice ended in being taken by the whomping willow of Prospect Park. I tried to get replacement spars for my other kites. But after many weeks of searching. I just gave up and decided to purchase another kite. Let’s see, maybe I should also add a swivel, and nylon bag. Oh what fun. Okay, no more shopping for me.

One More Time, for the Nine

I went to my first subway party yesterday. It was in honor of the discontinued 9 train. I was so bummed that I missed the Death of the Q Diamond. There is totally nothing like this. And it was so cool just have fun on the train. I went with some friends and bumped into some old friends. Now I just have a hard time getting onto my usual train for my regular commute hoping that we can have a party on the train again.
